we love our
Joanne and Randolph Charles live in the Virginia Piedmont one hour west of Washington, D.C. and breed Labrador Retrievers at LittleAcre Labradors.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Joanne’s mentor, Sandy Stokes of Red Barn Ranch and Labradors, Charles Town, West Virginia. Serendipity led us to Sandy in 2011, who runs a stellar breeding program for Labrador Retrievers at RBRandL.
Joanne and Randolph Charles
Joanne is a recently retired Family Nurse Practitioner who now devotes her time to nurturing animals, as she did people for many years! Labrador Retrievers have been a part of Joanne’s life for almost 25 years and have taught her much about life and the meaning of steadfast relationship. Joanne’s dream of breeding Labrador Retrievers came to fruition in 2013 with a purchase of her first breeding Dam, RBRandL’s Sweet Hazel of Kilkenny. Joanne is a member of the Warrenton Kennel Club.
Randolph is a semi-retired Episcopal Priest with a love of nature and learning, and is loving his new role helping with the puppies. He devotes much of his semi-retirement to caring for our labs, Hazel, Colleen, and Hannah; our two cats, Mary and Martha; and our three alpacas, Navidad, Arwin and Rosalita. In his other hours, Randolph has a passion for music of all kinds, and has fully embraced his new role as part-time Priest Associate at St. James Episcopal Church in Warrenton, Virginia.
